Breitbart News exclusively obtained a photo of Democrat Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer violating her own Covid orders at a Lansing dive bar this past weekend.
Whitmer was hanging out at the Landshark in Lansing with a large group of friends, including her chief operations officer, Tricia Foster.
Whitmer’s own Covid guidelines issued on May 15 prohibit gatherings of that size.
On Sunday Whitmer released a statement after getting caught violating her own Covid guidelines.
“As more people arrived, the tables were pushed together. Because we were all vaccinated, we didn’t stop to think about it. In retrospect, I should have thought about it. I am human. I made a mistake, and I apologize,” Whitmer said.
On Monday Whitmer said she was crammed at a table with several other maskless people violating Covid guidelines because Landshark has “good pizza.”

So can everyone who was fined by Gretchen Whitmer use this as a defense?
Marlena’s Bistro and Pizzeria owner Marlena Pavlos-Hackney was jailed until she paid $7,500 and ordered to close shop last year for violating Whitmer’s Covid orders, but Whitmer can toss out a fake apology and go on with her life.
If only Marlena Pavlos-Hackney could have used the Whitmer defense of “we have good pizza” to stay out of jail.
