Citing the 23 Amendment, Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) this week said he does not support DC statehood, or election reform bills, dealing a major blow to the Marxists in Washington.
Manchin said Congress should propose a constitutional amendment if they want to make DC a state during a radio interview with West Virginia MetroNews’s Hoppy Kercheval.
“They all came to the same conclusion,” Manchin said of previous DOJ studies on DC statehood. “If Congress wants to make D.C. a state, it should propose a constitutional amendment … and let the people of America vote.”
The Framers of the Constitution never intended for DC to be a state, but the Democrats are going for the power grab anyway.
The Democrat-Communist party knows they don’t have the support to amend the Constitution so they are pushing for DC statehood through a vote in Congress.
Last Thursday the US House voted 216-208 to make the District of Columbia a state.
The Democrats stole the White House and the Senate in 2020 with massive voter fraud so now they are fiercely working to pack the Supreme Court and pack the Senate.
