The recall appears to be working.
Embattled Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA) was spotted this week cleaning up trash along the 110 freeway in Los Angeles as a recall election to oust him looms.
CA is the most beautiful place in the world — but it’s time to clean it. Less trash. More art in communities. And 15,000 new jobs to make it happen. pic.twitter.com/VWtok8aEhG

More than 2 million Californians signed the petition to recall Newsom to boot him from office.
Despite what Newsom says, it’s not a vast right-wing conspiracy to oust him from office. A significant number of people who signed the recall petition are Democrats and Independents.
A Fox LA reporter confronted Newsom about his ongoing Covid mandates while he was out cleaning up trash.
Virtually every state is open for business but California is still under a strict mask mandate because of Governor Newsom.
Newsom looked defeated and weak and said virtually all Covid mandates will be lifted by June 15.
“Only in those massively large [indoor] settings where people from around the world are convening and people are mixing in real dense spaces. Otherwise…no mandates,” Newsom said. “No mandates and no restrictions on businesses large and small.”
