Joe Biden on Thursday delivered remarks on the Colonial Pipeline hack that caused gas shortages in southeastern states this week.
“Fuel is beginning to flow…They should be reaching full operational capacity as we speak…this is not like flicking on a light switch…we expect to see a region by region return to normalcy beginning this weekend,” Biden said Thursday after Colonial Pipeline announced it has begun to restart its operations.
Biden had some special instructions for “drivers” in states with gas shortages and long lines at gas stations.
“Here’s what drives the driver…in the states that are affected… Here’s what you can do, the drivers,” Biden said.
