Police Officer Who Made Viral TikTok Video Mocking LeBron James SUSPENDED — Fundraiser Launched

The police officer who posted a hilarious video mocking LeBron James has been suspended from his job over the harmless joke.

Nate Silvester, an officer in Bellevue, Idaho, aims to “humanize the badge” with his funny and topical posts on TikTok.

According to Silvester’s best friend, Gannon Ward, the city did not find the officer’s video as funny as millions of us did and have suspended him for a week. While he is currently still employed, angry leftists are definitely trying to change that.

In the parody video responding to James threatening a police officer who had to shoot a teenage girl to protect another young woman who was about to be stabbed by her, Silvester staged a mock call to the basketball player for help deciding what to do while witnessing a black man stabbing another black man.

“Dispatch, I’ve arrived at that disturbance. Will you have LeBron James call my cellphone right away please? Thank you,” the detective says.

Silvester goes on to pretend that he is asking an assailant to “please put the knife down” and “stop stabbing him” while he waits for James to call.

“Hold on, it’s LeBron,” Silvester says. “LeBron, hey, yeah it’s me again. Listen, I’m out here at this disturbance call and there’s a guy trying to stab another guy with a knife. What do you think I should do?”

The detective then alludes to James asking what the races of the people involved are.

“Why does that matter? Okay, well, they’re both back,” he says, before again stating that one guy is trying to stab another guy with a knife. “Deadly force is completely justified,” he notes.

“So, you don’t care if a black person kills another black person — but you do care if a white cop kills a black person… even if he’s doing it to save the life of another black person? I mean, that doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, but then again, you’re really good at basketball so I guess I’ll take your word for it,” he says.

Silvester concludes the call and waves to the imaginary stabber and his victim saying, “sorry guys, you’re on your own, good luck.”

Ward has now launched a GoFundMe to recoup any lost pay for Silvester.

“Hi, my name is Gannon. The recent viral TikTok video of a cop calling out Lebron James has cost the cop, my best friend in the world, Officer Nate Silvester at least a week’s worth of pay for suspension. He’s still got his job for now, but apparently the town where he polices didn’t find his TikTok as amazingly comical, and accurate as the 4.1 million viewers did, including some major news networks,” Ward wrote. “I just don’t want to see my friend lose out on any money for this, when it was meant to be satirical, and to point out an obvious flaw in Lebron’s logic. Please donate what you can contribute. Every dollar helps! Thanks!!”
