George Floyd Family After Chauvin Verdict: “We Need Each and Every Officer to Be Held Accountable” (VIDEO)

On Tuesday the Minnesoata jury reached a verdict in the murder trial of former Minneapolis cop Dereck Chauvin in George Floyd’s death.

The verdict was announced at around 5:00 PM ET Tuesday.

Police Officer Derek Chauvin was found guilty of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.

Following the verdict the Floyd family spoke with reporters.
They used a broad brush to paint all police officers as flawed and corrupt individuals.

That’s what racists used to say about blacks.

George Floyd’s nephew Brandon Williams: “We need each and every officer to be held accountable. And until then it’s still scary to be a black man and woman in America on account of police.”

It’s as if yesterday’s decision to convict a white officer never happened.
