Fed-Up Missouri Residents Plan Town Hall Hearing in State Capitol Over Draconian COVID-19 Lockdowns

MISSOURIANS WANT LEGISLATORS TO FIND OUT WHO ORDERED OR INFLUENCED DRACONIAN COVID-19 LOCKDOWNS

Missouri residents are taking over the rotunda of the State Capitol next Tuesday to hold their own forum on the effects of COVID-19 restrictions on vulnerable citizens. The hearings are open to the public and will include testimony from a leading Kansas City area physician and a half-dozen Missourians whose loved ones were isolated and afraid in the final days.

One of those citizens is Rachel Deckerd of Perry County, Missouri. She will recount nightmarish phone calls from her dying father who was isolated away from any family or friends for 5 weeks.

The list of witnesses includes Dr. Karladine Graves, a Kansas City area physician one of America’s Frontline Doctors. Dr. Graves is expected to testify of the physiological effects of isolation, masking, and forced separation from loved ones.

One of the organizers of the event, Carla Grewe, has interviewed dozens of Missourians who lost a relative to non-COVID diseases after weeks or months of total isolation from their families. Speaking of a couple who lost their son, she said, “I have never told their story without tearing up. Most of the time, I can’t even get to the end.”

Grewe says she knows many Missouri legislators and believes they have done what they were told was best for everyone. “But it’s obvious that they were being influenced by outsiders who claimed to have all the answers,” Grewe said. “We want to know—these victims deserve to know—who they were, who they work for, and why the official guidance changed so many times and continues to change.”

Most Missourians died of non-COVID-19 diseases and conditions since the lockdowns began in March 2020. Almost all of those spent at least the last four weeks of their life isolated from friends and family because of COVID restrictions. Many of those restrictions proved useless in preventing the spread of the virus. This public forum hopes to trigger investigations that will uncover the people and organizations that hatched and continued those lockdowns against the better judgment of many medical experts like Dr. Graves.

The Town Hall hearing will be held in the rotunda of the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City on Tuesday, May 4 from noon to 1:00 p.m. Everyone who was affected by COVID-19 restrictions is encouraged to attend and participate.
