On Monday House managers walked their article of impeachment to the Senate against private citizen Donald Trump.

The US Senate announced today that Chief Justice John Roberts will not preside over Trump’s Senate impeachment trial. Instead, Senate President Pro Tempore, Pat Leahy (VT) will preside over the sham trial instead.

What a crock.

The impeachment trial of private citizen Donald Trump will begin on February 8th.
