According to today’s corrupt politicians in DC you can now impeach a former President. If this is the case then let’s start with Obama.
The Democrats in the Senate want to hold an impeachment hearing of former President Donald Trump because he complained that his stolen election was stolen. Now that his opponent was installed in his place, the Democrats want to impeach President Trump. This is the very definition of a Banana Republic.
According to Democrat constitutional attorney Alan Dershowitz, however, you can’t impeach a former president:
Now that Donald Trump is a private citizen, the Senate should dismiss the article of impeachment against him for lack of jurisdiction. The Constitution is clear: “The president . . . shall be removed from office on impeachment . . . and conviction”—not by the expiration of his term before the impeachment process is complete. It also mandates that “judgment in cases of impeachment shall not extend further than to removal and disqualification“—not or disqualification.
When the Constitution was written, several states allowed impeachment of former officials. The Framers could easily have included that provision, but they didn’t. They also explicitly chose to prohibit the British practice of trial by legislature—excepting only impeachment—and “bill of attainder,” any punitive legislative act against a specific person. The courts have held that the punishments prohibited by the Bill of Attainder Clause include disqualification from holding office. Moreover, the Constitution requires the chief justice to preside “when the president of the United States is tried.”
No former official has ever been convicted by the Senate, and only one has been impeached. Secretary of War William W. Belknap was indisputably guilty of numerous impeachable offences, to which he confessed as he resigned his office hours before the House unanimously impeached him in 1876. The Senate voted in favor of a procedural motion affirming its jurisdiction to try Belknap’s impeachment. But two dozen senators who believed he was guilty voted to acquit on jurisdictional grounds. A close vote nearly a century and a half ago doesn’t establish a binding precedent.
A more compelling precedent is the House’s decision not to impeach Richard Nixon. After he left office in 1974 to avoid certain impeachment and conviction, there was no movement to continue the process.
But the Democrats and their Republican counterparts in the Senate believe you can impeach a former President. If this is the case then Barack Obama should certainly be impeached. But what for? Well in Obama’s case it’s what he did that actually counts.
We know that he spied on numerous individuals and including President Trump. We know he set up the President and members of his team and we know he knew. These activities are shocking and criminal. He should be impeached for this:
Of course, this isn’t just us claiming Obama spied on President Trump. This isn’t some make believe BS like the Democrats and Republicans are doing with President Trump. This was confirmed by Attorney General Barr:

Obama also gave America’s enemy Iran billions in cash as a ransom and to initiate the worst deal in world history, the Iran deal. This was an impeachable offense if there ever was one. Iran then used the cash to create more terrorist acts in the Middle East:

Obama lied to get Obamacare passed. That’s impeachable. President Trump said his election was stolen, which isn’t a lie, but he is being impeached:

President Trump was hounded for more than four years. The Obama leftovers used every single method they could to find dirt on President Trump. They lied to suggest he was involved with Russia. They lied to suggest he was committing quid-pro quo in Ukraine; Biden did this, not Trump. Who could forget the Benghazi travesty? Then they lied to suggest the 2020 election wasn’t stolen and impeach the President for saying this. Now they want to impeach him after stealing the Presidency from him.
