Hunter Biden Emails: Burisma Official Thanks Hunter for ‘Opportunity’ to Meet Joe Biden in 2015

The New York Post reported Wednesday that a laptop computer abandoned at a Delaware repair shop contains emails between Hunter Biden and a senior Burisma adviser that indicate Hunter Biden arranged a meeting between his father then-Vice President Joe Biden and the adviser in Washington, D.C. in 2015. If the meeting took place as indicated, it would blow up Joe Biden’s claims he never discussed Hunter’s foreign business dealings with him and show that he helped Hunter use his position to enrich the Biden family.

The laptop also appears to have video of Hunter Biden smoking crack and having sex with an unidentified woman. The repair shop owner alerted the FBI to the unclaimed computer that was dropped off for repair in April 2019, but made a copy of the hard drive before the FBI seized it under a subpoena last December which he gave to an attorney for Trump campaign advisor Rudy Giuliani. The Post says Steve Bannon tipped the paper about the hard drive in late September and that Giuliani then provided a copy to the Post. The shop owner told the Post the laptop had a sticker on it from the Beau Biden Foundation.

Excerpt:

Hunter Biden introduced his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, to a top executive at a Ukrainian energy firm less than a year before the elder Biden pressured government officials in Ukraine into firing a prosecutor who was investigating the company, according to e-mails obtained by The Post.

The never-before-revealed meeting is mentioned in a message of appreciation that Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to the board of Burisma, allegedly sent Hunter Biden on April 17, 2015, about a year after Hunter joined the Burisma board at a reported salary of up to $50,000 a month.

“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure,” the e-mail reads.

An earlier e-mail from May 2014 also shows Pozharskyi, reportedly Burisma’s No. 3 exec, asking Hunter for “advice on how you could use your influence” on the company’s behalf.

The blockbuster correspondence — which flies in the face of Joe Biden’s claim that he’s “never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings” — is contained in a massive trove of data recovered from a laptop computer…

…Other material extracted from the computer includes a raunchy, 12-minute video that appears to show Hunter, who’s admitted struggling with addiction problems, smoking crack while engaged in a sex act with an unidentified woman, as well as numerous other sexually explicit images.

…The shop owner couldn’t positively identify the customer as Hunter Biden, but said the laptop bore a sticker from the Beau Biden Foundation, named after Hunter’s late brother and former Delaware attorney general…

Politico fireman Kyle Cheney took to Twitter to quickly pour cold water on the Post report:

“The ‘smoking gun’ email in the NY Post story — even if it is authentic, given the massive red flags — doesn’t actually say what the story says it does. Also, recall:”

“Again, stipulating that the suspect email is real, there’s literally nothing in it that says Joe Biden met with a Burisma adviser. “The opportunity to meet,” may just as easily have meant Hunter promised a meeting in the future that may never have occurred.”

“Lastly, if such a meeting occurred, it should be pretty easy to pinpoint with accuracy when and where, which would seem an important part of reporting a story like this before blasting out the innuendo — especially given the suspect actors involved.”

“Important addendum: Nothing about the premise of the story adds up. Every credible source has testified that the prosecutor involved was fired because he was *not* investigating corruption and removing him made it likelier Burisma would face a real probe.”

New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman has doubts, “Things that are sketchy in NYP story on Hunter Biden – why wasn’t this in Ron Johnson report if it’s been in possession for awhile? When did Giuliani acquire it? Giuliani has been everywhere on the but this has been kicking around since late last year and unreleased till now?”

Rudy Giuliani promised, “Much more to come.”
