Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Features Brazilian-Born Transgender Model (VIDEO)

Valentina Sampaio

Valentina Sampaio made history as Sports Illustrated’s first transgender model and will be featured in the July 2020 swimsuit issue.

“The team at SI has created yet another groundbreaking issue by bringing together a diverse set of multitalented, beautiful women in a creative and dignified way,” Sampaio told Vogue Magazine. “I am excited and honored to be part [of this].”

The Brazilian-born transgender model said, “Being trans in Brazil, we don’t have the same opportunities. The door is closed for you just because you are trans.”

Last year Sports Illustrated glamorized the oppression of women and promoted Sharia law by featuring a Muslim woman donning a hijab and burkini.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit also featured a morbidly obese bikini model last year as part of their new push for ‘diversity.’

Transgenders, the oppression of women and morbid obesity is now being celebrated by Sports Illustrated Swimsuit under the guise of diversity. Let that sink in.
