BREAKING: Dr. Fauci Tells CNN He Expects “Between 100,000 and 200,000” Coronavirus Deaths in US “Based on What We’re Seeing” (VIDEO)

Dr. Anthony Fauci joined Jake Tapper on CNN on Sunday to discuss the coronavirus.

Dr. Fauci told Jake Tapper that he expects “based on what we’re seeing” somewhere between 100,000 and 200,000 coronavirus deaths in the US.

It’s not clear where he is getting his numbers.

The US currently has recorded 2,352 coronavirus deaths.
The Global Count is 703,805 total recorded cases and 33,213 total deaths.

The CDC estimated flu deaths this year to be between 24,000 and 62,000 cases.

Dr. Fauci’s current estimates would make the coronavirus about 5 times more deadly than the seasonal flu.
So far — not a single country is seeing that high of a number of deaths.
