Venezuelan President Juan Guaidó Meets with President Trump in Oval Office – Discuss Ongoing Crisis in Socialist Venezuela

President Donald Trump received the honored President Juan Guaidó from Venezuela in the White House on Wednesday.  
This came after President Trump recognized Juan Guaidó at his historic State of the Union Address on Tuesday night.

The visit was an opportunity for the US to reaffirm the commitment of the Trump administration to the people of Venezuela. The meeting in the Oval Office was  strategy session to see how the Us can assist President Guaidó to expedite a democratic transition that will end the ongoing crisis in Venezuela.
The United State demands that China, Cuba and Russia withdraw their support for Maduro.
In the morning, the opposition leader  held a meeting with Vice President Mike Pence prior to coordinate strategies.
An American official on the condition of anonymity said that US threatens sanctions against Repsol, Chevron and Rosneft in relation to their support of the regime.
In a statement the Office of the Press Secretary said:  “We will continue to work with our partners in the region to confront the illegitimate dictatorship in Venezuela.”
We will stand with the Venezuelan people to ensure a future that is democratic and prosperous.
It is important to highlight that the situation in Venezuela receives mostly bipartisan support in the United State Congress.
