Even a Broken Clock is Right Twice a Day: Watch Rep. Rashida Tlaib Lead Bernie Sanders Supporters in Booing Hillary Clinton

If there is one thing that can unite supporters of Senator Bernie Sanders and supporters of President Donald Trump it is disdain for Hillary Clinton.

Proving that even a broken clock is right twice a day, Michigan Democrat Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib lead a crowd of Sanders supporters in a prolonged booing of Clinton during an Iowa rally on Friday night.

In an upcoming documentary about the twice-failed candidate’s life, Clinton claims that “nobody likes” Sanders.

“He was in Congress for years. He had one senator support him. Nobody likes him, nobody wants to work with him, he got nothing done. He was a career politician. It’s all just baloney and I feel so bad that people got sucked into it,” Clinton said.

The backlash to her statement was fast and viral.

Clinton’s comment was the subject of discussion during a panel with Rep. Tlaib, Rep. Pramila Jayapal and Rep. Ilhan Omar — all of whom have endorsed Sanders.

“What happens in Iowa does not stay in Iowa, what happens in Iowa goes to New Hampshire and goes to every other state across the country, so we are counting on you to turn it out for senator Bernie Sanders the next president of the United States of America!” Rep. Jayapal said near the end of the panel, which was followed by a Bon Iver concert.

The panel’s host, Des Moines school board member Dionna Langford, responded by bringing up Clinton.

“Iowa, we have three days, I don’t remember if you guys remember last week when someone by the name of Hillary Clinton said that nobody…”

Langford could not finish her sentence before the crowd began loudly booing at the mention of her name.

“We’re not going to boo, we’re not going to boo, we are classy here…” Langford interjected.

“Well, I’ll boo,” Tlaib said, before actually booing.

“You all know, I can’t be quiet, no, we’re going to boo,” Tlaib added. “That’s all right, the haters will shut up on Monday when we win.”

Langford attempted to finish her initial thought, but was again interrupted by booing at the mention of the former First Lady’s name.

“There we go, I was going to say, a hater said, by the name of Hillary Clinton, we call the names out here, taking shots,” Langford said, “That nobody likes Bernie Sanders.”
