Fox News host Brian Kilmeade appeared frazzled and upset as he was confronted with the fact that disgraced former National Security Advisor John Bolton is a liar
The Fox and Friends hosts were discussing an August 2019 interview with Bolton that President Donald Trump had tweeted out which undermines the claims Bolton made in his book about how the president had explicitly tied Ukraine aid to an investigation of Joe Biden.

“(Ukraine’s president) and President Trump have already spoken twice,” Bolton told Radio Free Europe in an interview before he was fired. “The president called to congratulate President Zelensky on his election and on his success in the parliamentary election. They were very warm and cordial calls.”
Kilmeade’s co-hosts Steve Doocy and Ainsley Earhardt agreed that the interview appeared to contradict his recent claims, as Kilmeade sat looking rather uncomfortable.

“That’s interesting,” Earhardt said. “That completely contradicts his forthcoming book.”
At this point, Doocy joked that the information he wrote about was “so secret he can’t publish the book,” as the White House reportedly had denied the book, saying that it contained classified material.
Kilmeade clearly couldn’t take any more and jumped in to defend Bolton’s honor.
“I don’t like the idea of people making John Bolton out to be a liar,” Kilmeade said. “He’s sat on this couch before. He’s not a liar.”
The former National Security Advisor John Bolton obviously changed his story in his upcoming book to take down the duly elected president — who was his boss!
What a disgrace.
