In July Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin was ranked the least popular governor in the United States.
Bevin had a 32% approval rating in July and a 56% disapproval rating.
On Monday President Trump campaigned for Matt Bevin in Kentucky a state Trump won by 30%.
Trump lifted Bevin to 48% of the vote.
On Tuesday Matt Bevin lost the governor’s race to Democrat Andy Beshear in a tight race.

UPDATE: The AP reversed their decision and now say the race is too close to call.
