Did the Deep State ‘Anonymous’ Author of New York Times Anti-Trump ‘Resistance’ Op-Ed and ‘Tell-All’ Book Just Get Unmasked?

The Justice Department is seeking identifying information on the anonymous author of the New York Times anti-Trump ‘resistance’ op-ed who also just released a ‘tell-all’ book — but did he just get unmasked by The New Republic?

The author of the NY Times ‘resistance’ op-ed has penned an anti-Trump tell all book titled, “A Warning.”

“An unprecedented behind-the-scenes portrait of the Trump presidency from the anonymous senior official whose first words of warning about the president rocked the nation’s capital,” the description of the book states.

The book became available for purchase on November 19.

An article written in The New Republic by former Bill Clinton speechwriter David Kusnet claims Guy Snodgrass is the ‘Anonymous’ saboteur who penned the NYT op-ed and ‘tell-all’ book blasting President Trump.

Guy Snodgrass is former Secretary of Defense James Mattis’ speechwriter.

Via The New Republic:

“Reading Snodgrass’s Pentagon memoir, Holding the Line, the clues to Anonymous’s identity are apparent. As in A Warning, the sentences and paragraphs are pithy and punchy. Every chapter in both books begins with an inspiring but not cliched quotation from an historic figure. Many passages in both books are remarkably similar: the ordeal of conducting a Pentagon briefing for Trump; national security staffers exchanging appalled asides about Trump’s conduct of foreign policy via Twitter; and the arguments for why American alliances strengthen national security and immigration policy shouldn’t be based on building a border wall. In particular, both books stress that, when briefed about international alliances, Trump derails discussions by griping about how allies are stiffing the United States, from allegedly miserly NATO contributions to ostensibly one-sided trade policies.”

The New Republic alleged Guy Snodgrass is the ‘Anonymous’ author — And he’s not denying it!

“The swirl continues,” Guy Snodgrass tweeted in his caption linking to The New Republic article.

Mother Jones reporter Dan Spinelli said he asked Guy Snodgrass if he was the ‘Anonymous’ saboteur and Snodgrass responded in a text “fun” — then told him “no comment at this time.”

In September of 2018, The New York Times published an op-ed from an anonymous senior Trump administration official bragging about being a saboteur inside the White House.

The op-ed begins with the author admitting people within the Trump administration are ‘working diligently from within to frustrate parts of Trump’s agenda.’

The author trashed Trump’s accomplishments and leadership style and claimed, “Given the instability many witnessed, there were early whispers within the cabinet of invoking the 25th Amendment, which would start a complex process for removing the president.”

President Trump is surrounded by Deep State cowards who hide behind anonymity in order to attack him while shielding themselves from backlash.
