U.S. Capitol Police arrested a man for removing his clothing and exposing himself at an office building for senators and their staff.
An officer approached a man who was removing his clothing Tuesday afternoon in the hallway of the Russell Senate Office Building.
“When the officer made contact with the suspect, he removed his underclothes, exposing his genitals,” Capitol Police spokeswoman Eva Maleki told the Washington Examiner.
Maleki said the man, who was not named, was arrested and charged with indecent exposure.

NBC reported that as the suspect began removing his clothes, Officer Jenning told him to stop — the suspect responded with, “I am on my way to see God!”
Officer Jenning phoned another officer for backup and when the second officer showed up, the suspect “removed his underwear, fully exposing his genitalia and anus in violation of DC code,” according to the police affidavit.
The man was then arrested for indecent exposure.
