NEW: Shifty Schiff Announces House Intel Committee to Hold Public Hearings in New Phase of Sham Impeachment Inquiry

House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff announced on Monday that his committee will be moving to a new phase in the sham impeachment inquiry into President Trump.

For the last month Adam Schiff has conducted unclassified impeachment hearings behind closed-doors only to selectively leak portions of the testimonies to the media in order to damage President Trump.

The House Intel Committee will be conducting public, televised hearings following the vote on the new impeachment resolution.

The Democrats have a lot of new fodder because a corrupt Obama judge just sided with the House Dems and granted them access to secret grand jury information and underlying intelligence material in Mueller’s report.

“This week, we will bring to the Floor a resolution that establishes the format for open hearings that will be conducted by the House Intelligence Committee as part of the House’s ongoing impeachment inquiry, as well as procedures to transmit any evidence or report to the Judiciary Committee,” Schiff’s statement said.

“The American people will hear firsthand about the President’s misconduct,” Schiff added.

Rep. Jim McGovern of Massachusetts, who is chairman of the House Rules Committee, said on Monday that he plans to introduce a resolution on Tuesday to “ensure transparency” and “provide a clear path forward” in the coming impeachment inquiry.

Pelosi said in a letter to lawmakers that she plans a vote this week, likely on Thursday, reported The Hill.

To be clear, this is a resolution, not an article of impeachment — the measure is to establish some process procedures.

“This resolution establishes the procedure for hearings that are open to the American people, authorizes the disclosure of deposition transcripts, outlines procedures to transfer evidence to the Judiciary Committee as it considers potential articles of impeachment, and sets forth due process rights for the president and his counsel,” Pelosi said in her letter.

“We are taking this step to eliminate any doubt as to whether the Trump administration may withhold documents, prevent witness testimony, disregard duly authorized subpoenas, or continue obstructing the House of Representatives,” Pelosi added.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) blasted Speaker Pelosi and Democrats on Monday after they announced their impeachment resolution.

Rep. McCarthy defended President Trump and said Republicans “will not legitimize the Schiff/Pelosi sham impeachment.”

“It’s been 34 days since Nancy Pelosi unilaterally declared her impeachment inquiry. Today’s backtracking is an admission that this process has been botched from the start. We will not legitimize the Schiff/Pelosi sham impeachment,” McCarthy said.

Strangely, when confronted about the new impeachment resolution, Speaker Pelosi denied it was a “an impeachment resolution.”

Pelosi was asked by NBC News reporter Alex Moe to comment on the impeachment resolution, and the Speaker replied, “It’s not an impeachment resolution.”

What did she mean by that?
