The investigative journalist turned activist candidate for Congress in Florida’s 21st district has wowed political observers in Florida and beyond with her impressive haul in the 3rd quarter of 2019. Loomer entered the race in August earning headlines from coast-to-coast, but was widely ridiculed by mainstream media hacks for not being a serious candidate capable of raising enough money to mount a credible challenge against Democrat incumbent Lois Frankel. They were wrong.
Laura Loomer raised $154K during 3Q for campaign vs. Lois Frankel
According to a news release from Loomer’s campaign, she received support from people in all 50 states and had an average contribution of $66. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez raised just $59,000 in her first two fundraising quarters as a political newcomer. Loomer’s campaign outpaced Congresswoman Lois Frankel by nearly $50,000.
She outraised all of her opponents in the GOP primary, even if you combined their totals.
Considering the fact that Loomer is considered the most banned woman in the world, having been removed from every major fundraising and digital media platform for her commitment to nationalism and America First policies, bringing in $154,000 is both impressive and remarkable.
“I’m humbled at the outpouring of support for my campaign,” said Loomer. “Despite the radical left, big tech tyrants and the fake-news media doing everything they can to hinder my campaign, this early showing puts career politician Lois Frankel and the do-nothing-Democrats in congress on notice that no seat is safe and that I’m running to win. I look forward to continuing to travel the district and learning the concerns of the voters.”
Loomer’s campaign has the benefit of being helmed by Karen Giorno, the former Florida State Director for Trump’s 2016 campaign. Giorno believes this race will be one of the most watched contests in 2020. Although it leans Democrat, Loomer is building the necessary resources to expose the incumbent and win.
