Dem Chairs Schiff, Cummings, Engel Threaten Subpoenas Over Deep State Trump-Ukraine Whistleblower Complaint

The Democrat Chairs of three key committees on Monday sent a letter to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo threatening subpoenas over the latest Deep State Trump-Ukraine whistleblower complaint.

The Russian collusion canard failed so the Deep State-Democrat-Media complex cooked up a new Trump scandal — Ukrainian collusion.

Chairs of the House Intel (Schiff), Oversight (Cummings) and Foreign Affairs (Engel) demanded the State Department hand over documents…or else.

The House Democrats accused President Trump of abusing his power by pressuring Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate the Biden crime family.

“…President Trump and his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani, pressured the Ukrainian government to interfere with the upcoming US Presidential election by pursuing investigations that could benefit President Trump politically,” the letter stated.

“Seeking to enlist a foreign actor to interfere with an American election undermines our sovereignty, democracy, and the Constitution, which the President is sworn to preserve, protect, and defend.  Yet the President and his personal attorney now appear to be openly engaging in precisely this type of abuse of power involving the Ukrainian government ahead of the 2020 election.”

The Democrats gave Pompeo until Thursday, September 26 “whether they intend to comply with these requests or whether subpoenas will be necessary.”

This so-called whistleblower is a highly partisan spy in our intel community seeking the protection of whistleblower status in order to snitch on President Trump.

As Fox News legal analyst Gregg Jarrett argued, Article ll of the Constitution gives the president sweeping power to conduct foreign affairs, negotiate with leaders of other nations, make demands or offer promises.  The Constitution does not grant the power of review, approval or disapproval to spies or other unelected officials in the executive branch.
