The House Judiciary Committee held its first ‘impeachment hearing’ Tuesday afternoon.
The House Judiciary Panel, chaired by Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) last week approved procedures for its impeachment investigation into President Trump.
Trump’s former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski appeared before the Democrat-led committee Tuesday and frustrated Nadler by refusing to answer any questions about President Trump.
Lewandowski, a loyal and devoted supporter of Trump defended the President during his opening statement and slammed the feckless Democrats for their $40 million Trump-Russia witch hunt.
“Sadly, the country spent over three years and 40 million taxpayer dollars on these investigations. It is now clear the investigation was populated by many Trump haters who had their own agenda to try and take down a duly elected president of the United States,” Lewandowski said in his opening statement.
“As for actual collusion or conspiracy, there was none. What there has been, however, is harassment of the president from the day he won the election,” he added.

Chairman Nadler asked Lewandowski a series of questions about his private conversations with President Trump and the former campaign manager reverted back to his scripted non-answer.
Nadler asked, “How many times did the president ask you to meet him in the White House?” to which Lewandowski repeatedly stated, “The White House has directed me not to disclose the substance of any discussions with the President or his advisors to protect Executive Branch confidentiality.”
Nadler became flustered and spoke over Lewandowski after he repeated the same statement several times.

White House counsel Pat Cipollone said in a letter to the House Judiciary Committee on Monday that Lewandowski will not disclose his private conversations with President Trump and will only discuss what is already publicly available in Mueller’s report — and Lewandowski did just that.
You’ll get nothing and like it, Nadler.
