The moderator at the Native American Forum in Iowa was seemingly frazzled over the lack of excitement over Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren on Monday.
The situation was so bad that the moderator had a Jeb Bush “please clap” moment where he had to encourage the crowd to pretend to be excited.

Warren was attending the presidential forum on Native American issues in Sioux City, where she was greeted with skepticism.
“It’s a wonderful day and Native Americans across this country should celebrate. Today we’re sharing the stage with a future president perhaps,” the moderator said to a lukewarm reception.
The moderator then prompted the crowd to clap and said that he would “expect more excitement from our native citizens.”

Warren also apologized for her past cultural appropriation.
“Before I go any further in this I want to say this — like anyone who’s been honest with themselves I know I’ve made mistakes. I’m sorry for any harm I’ve caused,” Warren said.
“I have learned a lot and I am grateful for the many conversations that we’ve had together. It is a great honor to be able to partner with Indian country and that’s what I’ve tried to do as a senator, and that is what I promise to do as President of the United States of America.”
Attendees of the conference remained skeptical throughout the rest of her appearance.
