Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris suggested her 2020 gun control policies would have prevented the Philly mass shooting of police officers as the suspect was still on the loose actively shooting.
At least six police officers on Wednesday afternoon were shot in Philadelphia’s Nicetown-Tioga section.
The officers were taken to Temple University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Sergeant Eric Gripp.
A gun battle erupted when a warrant was being served to the home of a drug dealer.
Officers were first called to the scene for narcotics activity, according to Philadelphia Police Capt. Sekou Kinebrew, CBS Philadelphia reported.
As the active shooter situation unfolded, Kamala Harris told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer all about her plans for ‘smart gun safety laws.’
“Part of my focus on what we need to do around smart gun safety laws is recognize we have to have more enforcement around gun dealers. Wolf, 90% of the guns that are associated with crime are sold by just 5% of the gun dealers in the United States,” Kamala said as the suspect was actively shooting at cops.
Kamala Harris actually thinks drug dealers will abide by gun laws. Let that sink in.
