Bill Clinton: Reinstate the Assault Weapons Ban Now

Never let a crisis go to waste, right?

The Democrat-Deep State-media is out in full force right now attacking the 1st and 2nd Amendments in the wake of the back-to-back mass shootings.

Former president Bill Clinton on Thursday called for the reinstatement of the ban on “assault weapons.”

Clinton sounded the alarm in a Time Magazine op-ed and expressed his anger over ‘Latino lives being taken by a white nationalist.’

Countless American lives have been taken by illegal aliens, yet not a word from these Democrat leaders about stopping illegal aliens from invading the US.

“Elected officials speak about the need for change. But the tragedies do keep happening, while the one thing that we know can reduce the number and the death tolls of mass shootings has not been done: reinstituting the ban on assault weapons and the limit on high-capacity magazines that was in effect from 1994 to 2004,” Clinton wrote in a Time Magazine op-ed.

“Assault weapons are designed to inflict maximum harm in a short period of time,” Clinton wrote, arguing that the “red flag law” is a good idea.

“We have talked, tweeted, and delayed long enough. This is about who we are as a country, and what America will look like years from now. It’s time to reinstate the assault weapons ban and make background checks universal,” Clinton said in a tweet.

Someone should remind Bill Clinton that he’s no longer president of the United States.
