NEW: President Trump to Hold Rally in North Carolina on Same Day of Mueller Testimony

President Trump is planning on holding a campaign rally in North Carolina on the same day of Mueller’s testimony to Congress.

Trump’s rally will be in Greenville, North Carolina on July 17 at 7 PM ET, according to his reelection campaign.

Robert Mueller is set to testify to the House Judiciary and the House Intel Committees for a total of 4 hours on July 17.

While the fake news media breathlessly reports on every syllable that will come out of Mueller’s mouth, Trump will be countering the negative stories with a positive rally.

Trump won North Carolina in 2016 by 3.5 points.

“President Trump looks forward to returning to North Carolina and sharing the successes of the Trump presidency,” Michael Glassner, the Trump campaign’s chief operating officer, said in a press release.

“North Carolina has one of the hottest economies in the nation, and that is directly attributable to the pro-growth, deregulatory policies of this administration. With one of the largest military populations in the nation, President Trump is eager to talk directly to the military men and women who have made this country the greatest on earth,” he added.

Trump blasted Robert Mueller and the Democrats on Tuesday and called the Russia collusion canard “The Great Hoax.”

“Robert Mueller is being asked to testify yet again. He said he could only stick to the Report, & that is what he would and must do. After so much testimony & total transparency, this Witch Hunt must now end. No more Do Overs. No Collusion, No Obstruction. The Great Hoax is dead!” Trump said in a tweet Tuesday morning.
