NBC Debate Debacle: On Top of Audio Glitch, TV Screens Across Nation Went Black Multiple Times During Democrat Presidential Debate

Not only did NBC and MSNBC have to abruptly cut to commercial after an embarrassing audio glitch during the first round of the Democratic Party presidential debates in Miami Wednesday night, it turns out TV screens across the nation went to black multiple times for several seconds at a time during the debate broadcast.

Lead debate moderators NBC News anchors Lester Holt, Savannah Guthrie and Jose Diaz-Balart.

CNN’s Brian Stelter, “I thought it was just my TV set-up, but multiple viewers in other states tell me their debate telecasts also very briefly cut to black a few times.”
