President Donald Trump gave a well-received speech at the Normandy ceremony held Thursday morning to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Allies’ D-Day invasion to liberate Nazi-occupied France.
The speech aired during MSNBC’s Morning Joe. The panel lavished praise on Trump, prompting a meltdown by liberals and George Conway, husband of senior White House advisor Kellyanne Conway.
Mika Brzezinski, “…Very good and measured up to the moment.”

Joe Scarborough agreed, “it measured up to the moment…The strongest speech of his presidency.”
Willie Geist, “Terrific speech.”
David Ignatius, “Hit every note right…President Trump got it right”
George Conway couldn’t stand it, condescendingly sneering at his wife’s boss, accusing Trump of just parroting words off a TelePrompTer.
“Occasionally he’ll read lovely words off a TelePrompTer that someone else wrote but he doesn’t understand, and then within days he’ll say something that will remind us … he was just reading words off a TelePrompTer that someone else wrote but he doesn’t understand.”

TelePrompter became the word used by anguished liberals to attack praise for Trump’s speech.
Hillary Clinton activist Adam Parkhomenko:
Morning Joe thinks the ability to read from a TelePrompTer is transformative. If you want to know how things got so dumb in this country, those idiots are a good place to start.

Ending on a high note, kudos to actress Mia Farrow who wrote, “A fine D-Day speech by @POTUS in Normandy, honoring the few heroes present, boys then now in their mid nineties – and the thousands in their graves near the beaches where they fell. He expressed gratitude to our allies. He didnt make it about himself”
