House Judiciary Releases Hope Hicks Transcripts – White House Counsel Only Let Hicks Answer Questions About the Weather and Food
The Democrat-led House Judiciary Committee on Thursday released transcript of their closed-door interview with former White House Comms Director Hope Hicks.
Hope Hicks arrived on Capitol Hill Wednesday morning to testify to the House Judiciary Committee after Chairman Nadler issued her a subpoena to compel testimony.
On Tuesday, White House counsel Pat Cipollone sent a letter to Nadler to let him know that Trump had instructed Hope Hicks not to answer any questions about her time in the White House.
White House lawyers refused to let Hope Hicks answer any questions in the closed-door testimony and Jerry Nadler and other Democrat lawmakers are furious.
White House counsel objected to every question about Hicks’ time at the White House as Nadler went through every question one-by-one.
The transcripts show that White House counsel intervened to block Hope Hicks from answering questions 155 times.
Two of the only questions the White House let Hicks answer: 1) Was it sunny or cloudy on your first day? And 2) Where did you normally eat lunch?
You’ll get nothing and like it, Nadler.

Nadler called Hope Hicks refusal to answer questions “absurd.”
Democrat Rep. Ted Lieu (CA), was triggered after Hope Hicks even refused to answer where her office was located in the White House. Perfect!
In case you missed it, watch the incredibly stunning Hope Hicks walk down the hall to the closed-door hearing followed by the waddling swamp creature Jerry Nadler:
Hope’s one of the best PR pros I know (+ a genuinely kind person) but even she couldn’t orchestrate the perfect optics of being followed down the hall by a waddling curmudgeon bent on destroying people because @realDonaldTrump won an election fair & square pic.twitter.com/l1di9BD1vX
