Her ‘Sad Life’: WaPo White House Reporter Whines About Covering President Trump

Ashley Parker, White House reporter for the Washington Post, whined online Thursday night about her “sad life” having to cover President Trump. Parker complained that her smartphone buzzed every four minutes and instead of it being a message from her husband it was (tweets by) President Trump.

“Snapshot of my sad life: Approx. every four minutes, my phone buzzes. And I think, Oh great, it’s my husband texting that he’s heading home from work. But nope, it’s just the president. -30-”

Parker posted her whine at 9:24 p.m. EDT, five minutes after Trump had tweeted about favorable economic polling, “71% of Voters rate the Economy as Excellent or Good. The highest number in more than 18 years! @QuinnipiacPoll”

A few minutes before that Trump had retweeted his son Don Jr.’s 9:13 p.m. tweet.

And a few minutes before that Trump had tweeted a video of Speaker Pelosi at 9:09 p.m.

Parker is married to fellow White House reporter Michael Bender who works for the Wall Street Journal.

Parker became a heroine of the Resistance Media with her reaction during a Sean Spicer press briefing in April 2017.
