BREAKING: Shots Fired at School Near Denver – Multiple Students Wounded – Two Suspects in Custody

Two people were reportedly wounded in a shooting at STEM School Highlands Ranch in Colorado Tuesday.

Police are currently in the process of locating and identifying the shooter(s).

The school is currently on lockdown and police described the situation as “unstable” in a twitter post.

Police directed parents to pick up their children at a nearby elementary school.

At 4:40 PM ET, police updated and said, “at 1:53 pm responded to STEM school off Ridgeline Blvd in HR on call of shots fired in school, first update, 2 injured, deputies in process of identifying and locating shooter(s). Still active and unstable scene.”

Update: At 5 PM ET it was reported that authorities have two suspects in custody and multiple students are injured.

STEM School Highlands Ranch is less than 10 miles from Columbine High School.
