Philly Flyers Remove Kate Smith Statue Outside Wells Fargo Center Over a Racist Song That Black Actor Paul Robeson Also Sang (VIDEO)

As reported earlier today the New York Yankees banned Kate Smith’s rendition of “God Bless America” that has been playing since the September 11, 2001 terror attacks.

On Monday the Philadelphia Flyers went one step further and removed the statue of Kate Smith outside the Sports Complex.

The Marxist left demanded the patriotic song be scrapped after it came out that Kate Smith also sang a racist song in 1931.
Renowned black actor Paul Robeson also sand the racist song titled, “That’s Why Darkies Were Born” in 1931.

But the social justice warriors don’t care.
They want the song banned.
The left wants to erase America’s past.
This is pure hatred.

“God Bless America” is an American patriotic song written by Irving Berlin during World War I in 1918 and revised by him in the run up to World War II in 1938. The later version has notably been recorded by Kate Smith, becoming her signature song.
