The Democrats were caught off guard Wednesday when Attorney General Bill Barr said during a Senate hearing that he believes Trump’s campaign was spied on during the 2016 election.
House Speaker Pelosi freaked and said Bill Barr “went off the rails” — for speaking the truth about Obama’s corrupt FBI and DOJ.
“Let me just say how very dismaying and disappointing that the chief law enforcement officer of our country is going off the rails yesterday and today,” Pelosi told reporters, according to The Hill.
Bill Barr “is the attorney general of the United States of America, not the attorney general of Donald Trump.”
Wow how clever, Pelosi!
Attorney General Bill Barr testified to House and Senate committees this week and refused to be sidelined by Democrat lawmakers seeking to intimidate him.
Bill Barr sent the Democrats and their stenographers in the media into a tailspin on Wednesday when he said Trump’s 2016 campaign was spied on.
“I think spying did occur,” Barr said to Democrat Senator Jeanne Shaheen. “But the question is whether it was adequately predicated and I am not suggesting that it wasn’t adequately predicated but I need to explore that. I think it’s my obligation… I am not suggesting those rules were violated, but I think it is important to look at that. And I am not talking about the FBI necessarily, but intelligence agencies more broadly.
“I am going to be reviewing both the genesis and the conduct of intelligence activities directed at the Trump campaign during 2016,” Barr said.
Pelosi continued to push the Russia conspiracy theory then accused Bill Barr of “obstruction of getting the truth to the American people.”
“We want to see the Mueller report. There was an assault on the integrity of our election in our country, the basis for our democracy. There is no doubt about that. …it took place by Russia,” said Pelosi.
“You would think that every resource in our country would say we want to make sure this never happens again instead of engaging in this silliness. But, no, it isn’t silly; it’s too serious to be silly — this obstruction of getting the truth to the American people.”
According to The Hill, when asked if she is confident that Bill Barr will fairly investigate Russiagate, Pelosi said, “No.”
The screeching Democrats are upset that they no longer have control over the Justice Department which is why they are attacking Bill Barr and claiming he is spreading conspiracy theories about Spygate.
