Ola and Abel Osundairo filed a federal defamation lawsuit on Tuesday against hate hoaxer Jussie Smollett’s legal team.
The brothers’ lawyer, Gloria Schmidt said, “We want to end these malicious attacks and false statements by Geragos that continue to destroy the reputation against the Chicago Police and the Osundairo brothers.”

According to CBS reporter Charlie De Mar, the Osundairo brothers were dropped by talent agents as a result of Smollett attorney statements in days following charges dropped.

Mark Geragos claimed that Ola had a sexual relationship with Jussie Smollett on a podcast. Lawsuit strongly denies those claims. Adding that Ola was in a reationship with a woman at the time.
The Osundairo brothers said in a statement: “We have sat back and watched lie after lie being fabricated about us in the media only so one big lie can continue to have light. These lies are destroying our character and reputation and personal life. Those who know us personally know we don’t have hate for anyone. That is not who we are. We try to spread love and positivity. We will no longer sit back and allow these lies to continue.”

Jussie Smollett paid the Osundairo brothers $3,500 to help him carry out a hate hoax crime.
The brothers were seen on surveillance video buying supplies such has red hats and rope and Smollett even wrote them a check.
After the hate hoax unraveled, Smollett’s legal team continued to claim Smollett was attacked and the Osundairo brothers might have worn ‘white face.’
