Rand Paul: Obama’s Justice Department Sent Spies Into the Trump Campaign to Entrap Him (VIDEO)
Kentucky Senator Rand Paul told “Fox & Friends” on Thursday that he has a source that told him Barack Obama’s intelligence community sent spies into the Trump campaign in an attempt to entrap him.
Senator Paul said that John Brennan, James Clapper and James Comey were frustrated that nobody believed the ridiculous dossier compiled by Christopher Steele attempting to link Donald Trump to Russia, so they sent in spies.
“Well my source tells me that the intelligence community, Obama’s intelligence community, Brennan, Clapper, Comey, they were frustrated because they had this Russian dossier but no one believed it was real,” Paul said. “It wasn’t verifiable, they couldn’t get anything out of it, so they sent spies into the Trump campaign, they tried to entrap Trump officials [into] admitting that they were working for Russia, but it wasn’t working.”
“So finally what they decided is we have to attach this dossier, this fake dossier, to the intelligence reports [given to Obama],” he added.
Senator Paul also tweeted about his source on Wednesday, saying that he was told it was Brennan who insisted the fake Steele dossier be included in the Intelligence Report, and that he should be asked to testify under oath before Congress.
“A high-level source tells me it was Brennan who insisted that the unverified and fake Steele dossier be included in the Intelligence Report … Brennan should be asked to testify under oath in Congress ASAP,” he tweeted.
