That’s Weird? Gov. Northam Says He Does Not Believe He Was in the Yearbook Photo… But Students Picked Their Own Photos for the Yearbook

A picture from Democrat Virginia Governor Ralph Northam’s medical school yearbook surfaced on Friday showing two men, one in a KKK hood and robe and one in ‘blackface’ on the same page as Northam.

The photo was first published by Big League Politics on Friday and later confirmed by other outlets such as WaPo and The Virginian Pilot.

One half of the page shows Ralph Northam wearing a suit jacket and a tie, a photo of him in a cowboy hat and boots and another of him leaning up against a convertible.

The Virginia Democrat leadership is already defending the far left governor over the racist photos.

But the photos are not so innocent.

Eastern Virginia Medical School allowed students to pick their own photos for the yearbook.

The Washington Post reported:

Joan Naidorf, whose husband’s yearbook page sits opposite Northam’s in the yearbook, said she was surprised the photos are only now just coming out, given Northam’s stature in Virginia politics…

Like other schools, Eastern Virginia Medical School allowed students to pick their own photos for their yearbook page, Naidorf said. Her husband chose their engagement photo and some other personal pictures. Another student chose a picture of men also in blackface and dressed as woman in what appears to be a variety show routine.

On Saturday Governor Northam told a fellow Democrat that he does not believe the photos in the yearbook are of him.

That’s weird?
