Well, this was embarrassing.
Spartacus Cory Booker got schooled today during a Judiciary Committee hearing with Trump appointee Neomi Rao.
Booker asked the Trump nominee if she hired any LGBTQ clerks.
She replied to Spartacus that only judges have clerks.
Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ): “Have you ever had any LGBTQ law clerks?”
Judicial nominee Neomi Rao: “Senator, I’ve yet to be a judge. I don’t have law clerks.”
Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ): "Have you ever had any LGBTQ law clerks?"
Neomi Rao: "Senator, I've yet to be a judge. I don't have law clerks."
