‘Empire’ actor Jussie Smollett broke his silence Friday and released a statement to Essence amid the probe into the alleged assault that took place earlier this week.
Smollett said he believes “justice will be served” and attacked the media for inaccurate reporting.
The far left, Trump-hating actor echoed the same Marxist rubbish his family put out this week claiming attacks against ‘non-gender conforming brothers and sisters’ is happening on a regular basis.
‘This is not an isolated incident’ Smollett claimed.

Beautiful People,
Let me start by saying that I’m ok. My body is strong but my soul is stronger. More importantly I want to say thank you. The outpouring of love and support from my village has meant more than I will ever be able to truly put into words. I am working with authorities and have been 100% factual and consistent on every level. Despite my frustrations and deep concern with certain inaccuracies and misrepresentations that have been spread, I still believe that justice will be served. As my family stated, these types of cowardly attacks are happening to my sisters, brothers and non-gender conforming siblings daily. I am not and should not be looked upon as an isolated incident. We will talk soon and I will address all details of this horrific incident but I need a moment to process. Smollett claimed earlier this week he was walking to Subway to get something to eat at 2 AM when 2 white men wearing ski masks put his head in a noose, poured bleach on him and screamed, “This is MAGA country!”
Someone also yelled, “Aren’t you that fag*ot ‘Empire’ nig*er?”
Chicago Police and detectives have found zero video surveillance of the alleged attack on ‘Empire’ actor Jussie Smollett even though they have viewed hundreds of hours of footage.
Jussie Smollett reportedly still had the ‘noose’ around his neck nearly an hour after the ‘attack’ when police officers arrived on the scene. Weird.
Smollett’s manager claimed he was on the phone with the ‘Empire’ actor and heard the assault, the racial and homophobic slurs and the attackers screaming, “this is MAGA country!” however Smollett refuses to give his phone or his phone records to investigators to corroborate his claims.
