Illegal immigrant Javier da Silva was charged with kidnapping and murder of Valerie Reyes.
The Venezuelan man kidnapped Reyes tied her hands and feet with tape, murdered her, stuffed her body in a suitcase and dumped it on a Connecticut road.

The dual-citizenship-holding Queens man charged Tuesday with kidnapping Valerie Reyes — found dead and stuffed in a suitcase along a Connecticut road last week — asked the court to notify the Portuguese consulate of his arrest, but not the embassy of strife-rocked Venezuela.
“Not Venezuela, Portugal,” replied suspect Javier da Silva when asked in White Plains federal court whether he wanted the governments of the nations in which he holds dual-citizenship to be informed of his legal troubles.
Da Silva, 24, was arrested late Monday in connection to the death of former flame Reyes, whose body was found dumped near Greenwich, Conn., on Feb. 5…
…Da Silva — who, according to CBS 2-NY was living in the US illegally after overstaying a visa — was held without bail at the brief appearance.
