Actor of the Year: Jussie Smollett Cries in His First Interview Since Alleged Sub-Freezing MAGA Attack
“Empire” television show actor-singer Jussie Smollett arrived in Chicago on Monday January 28th. He went out to get fast food at 2 a.m. when he said he was allegedly attacked by two Trump supporters in MAGA hats who recognized him in the freezing cold, beat him, poured bleach on him and put a noose around his neck.
It was -15 to -30 degrees wind chill on Tuesday morning.
Jessie Smollett said he was assaulted and suffered a cracked rib but condo surveillance video shows Smollett walking past security to the elevator without telling them he had just been attacked by thugs who “beat the hell out of him” and “broke his ribs.”
On Saturday Smollet admitted his rib was not broken.
This was complete crap – just like the rest of the story.

Last night, Smollett publicly admitted his rib was NOT broken or fractured, a "fact" first reported by @tmz based on sources close to Smollett and spread like wildfire by lib narrative-driven media. How many will correct? https://t.co/2wKS28eQaB

And Jussie was carrying his Subway sandwich when he arrived home — he saved it during the alleged assault!
Jussie Smollett says he was talking to his manager during the assault but he still won’t turn over his phone.
The Associated Press reported that police had released images of “persons of interest” from surveillance camera footage, but were unable to find footage of Smollett being attacked.
The persons depicted in the police video were said to be walking away from the scene prior to 1:45AM.
On Wednesday Jussie Smollett spoke with ABC’s Robin Roberts in his first interview since his alleged attack.
Smollett cried during the interview with Robin Roberts.
The Daily Mail reported:
Jussie Smollett has given his first interview about the shocking racist and homophobic attack he was subjected to as he walked home from a Subway in Chicago last month at 2am.
The Empire actor spoke to ABC’s Robin Roberts for an interview that will air on Good Morning America on Thursday morning.
In a brief promo for the interview, he is seen tearing up after Roberts asked him if he feared for his life at any point during the attack.
It is the first time the 36-year-old himself will answer questions on camera about the incident which shocked the nation and has brought an avalanche of both sympathy and scrutiny Smollett’s way.
In the initial aftermath of the attack, Smollett received an outpouring of support from celebrities and fans alike who all condemned the discrimination he was subjected to.
