An 81-year-old man was assaulted in a New Jersey supermarket this week over his MAGA hat.
NBC New York reported that according to Somerset prosecutors, the elderly Franklin Township resident was at a ShopRite on Elizabeth Avenue Monday afternoon when a far left lunatic confronted him about his MAGA hat.
Prosecutors said that the elderly Trump supporter was left with minor injuries and declined treatment.
The assault is currently under investigation and it is unclear whether it was caught on surveillance tape.
No arrests have been made and prosecutors did not provide any details about the suspect either.
