Former Top FBI Lawyer Under Investigation for Leaking – Also Prepared Bogus Carter Page FISA and Was ‘Expert’ in Obama’s Illegal FISA 702 Program

Former FBI General Counsel James Baker is being investigated for leaking to the far-left media. He also reportedly was behind the bogus Carter Page FISA application that was put in place in an attempt to legitimize spying on candidate Trump. Baker also is likely the man in Obama’s FBI who lied about the FISA 702 program by stating it complied with the law which it did not.

We have known for over a year that former Obama FBI General Counsel James Baker was under investigation for leaking sensitive information to the far-left media.  This was confirmed this week by top House Republicans –

James Baker, the former top lawyer for the FBI, has been under a Department of Justice investigation since 2017, for allegedly leaking sensitive national security information to the media. The information regarding the leak investigation was confirmed in a letter from top House Republicans on Tuesday who are seeking more information on Baker from the Department of Justice.

Baker was the top lawyer in Obama’s corrupt FBI and he is not the only former Obama FBI leader to be under investigation, so is  former FBI Deputy Director Andy McCabe.

Then last night we found out that the corrupt Baker was also behind the bogus Carter Page FISA memo which was used in an attempt to legitimize spying on candidate Trump and all those surrounding him.

We also know that corrupt Baker was the expert in Obama’s illegal FISA 702 program according to court records.  The ACLU brought a 702 About Query complaint of abuse before the FISA Court.  This is a portion of the transcript before the FISA Court (on page 15) –

The court document noted above states that James Baker is the FBI’s expert on the 702 program.  In fact, Baker was the one in charge of the minimization procedure at the FBI.  Stuart Evans was the attorney in this case for the FBI, and he was telling the Court throughout this transcript that there were no abuses of the system.

John Carlin also informed the FISA court that there were no FISA abuses.   Carlin was later forced to resign the day after lying to the FISA court about the program.  Of course, he worked with crooked former DOJ attorney Sally Yates and this all occurred at the time Obama’s crooked FBI sought the bogus Carter Page memo.

NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers became aware of an issue with unauthorized FISA-702(17) “About Queries” early in 2016.   As a result of a FISA court ruling declassified in May of 2017.  Rogers performed an investigation of the 702 process and eventually shut down the program with this type of query because it was so corrupt.

The FBI’s former top attorney under the Obama Administration, James Baker, will go down in history as the most corrupt General Counsel in FBI history.  He leaked, lied and tried to overthrow the election and Presidency of Donald J. Trump.  He is a very bad person and a criminal and should never have worked in the FBI or anywhere in our government!
