BREAKING: Covington Catholic Cancels School Early Tuesday Morning Due to Safety Concerns, No Parents or Students Allowed on Campus

Covington Catholic High School has sent out a prerecorded message to parents telling them that school is cancelled on Tuesday due to “safety concerns.”

Parents received nearly no information from the school since the incident — other than a brief email on Monday that did not address the Antifa protesters threatening to protest the campus on Tuesday.

“The incident that took place at the March for Life in Washington, D.C. is being fully investigated by an independent third-party investigator. Based upon and following an investigation, we will be taking the appropriate action regarding this matter,” the email reads. “Please know that the administration is currently working with the Diocese, local police departments, and local authorities to ensure the safety of our students, faculty and staff.”

Parents received the call about the cancellation around 6 a.m. on Tuesday, hours before the kids were scheduled to return to school.

A mother who received the call tells the Gateway Pundit that it was a recorded message from the principal saying that they decided to close the school after discussions with local authorities. They said that there were security concerns and no parents or children are permitted on campus throughout the day or for any evening activities.

The recording also asked that parents continue to pray for the school.

“It sounded serious, like they had some serious threats to call it off like that after they planned for it to be open,” the parent told TGP.

The parent also expressed frustration at the fact that they hadn’t cancelled sooner — as the threats were every where.

A local Antifa group and a far-left Native American group have called for protests at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the school — though the Natives have reportedly moved their protest to a church.

The school has still not apologized for throwing their students under the bus and feeding them to the leftist mob.
