Senate Passes Vote – Approves Motion to Bring Bill to the Floor – Democrat Doug Jones Votes Yes – VP Pence Breaks the Tie (VIDEO)

Mitch McConnell took the Senate Floor with a proposal that includes all of the six previous agreements.

Jeff Flake and Senator Doug Jones votes yes on the floor vote.

Mike Pence broke the tie today.

Bob Corker helped mediate the agreement to get the bill on the floor.

The vote passed 48-47 in the Senate.

The vote was 48-47 with Pence’s ballot &was the longest vote in Senate history.

Sen. Doug Jones (D-AL) voted yes as did Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ), which was key.

When an agreement is reached it will receive a vote here on the floor
