Ouch! Trump Rips Macron and Globalist Elites on Suffocating Climate Change Gas Taxes

The ‘City of Lights’ became the ‘City of Fire’ this past weekend as thousands of angry citizens took to the streets to protest President Emanuel Macron’s exorbitant fuel tax to combat global warming.

According to the BBC — At least 110 people were injured, including 17 members of the security forces, and 270 arrests were made.

On Tuesday Macron backtracked on his gas taxes and pushed them off for at least six months.

President Trump was not shy about his response to the climate change crisis.
The president went after the global elites whose goal is to wipe out the middle class.

President Trump: I am glad that my friend @EmmanuelMacron and the protestors in Paris have agreed with the conclusion I reached two years ago. The Paris Agreement is fatally flawed because it raises the price of energy for responsible countries while whitewashing some of the worst polluters in the world. I want clean air and clean water and have been making great strides in improving America’s environment. But American taxpayers – and American workers – shouldn’t pay to clean up others countries’ pollution.
