James Carville: No Wave Election for Democrats

Former Bill Clinton campaign guru and Democratic Party strategist James Carville said on MSNBC as results were coming in Tuesday night he does not see a wave election happening for the Democrats in the mid-term elections.

“Tonight there was some hope the Democrats would have a wave election. It’s not gonna be a wave election. It could still be a good election, you know there’s a a lot of drama left in Florida…”

Carville expressed hope, but not confidence, the Democrats could take the House tonight, “Hopefully the Democrats get the House back.”  He also lamented that he was “a little more optimistic about Florida than it’s turned out to be. I think we have to put a nailbiter in a lot of places here tonight.”
