UFC 229 Ends With the Wildest Post Fight Fracas In Fighting History – Even Mike Tyson Weighs In!
Guest post by Joe Hoft
Last night’s UFC 229 event was the largest gate for any UFC event ever in Nevada and it ended with the craziest post fight fracas ever as well!
UFC229 recorded a sellout in Las Vegas for a gate total of more than $17 million. It was the largest MMA gate record in Nevada history –
The #UFC229 gate was a sellout of 20,0034 for $17,188,894.67. That number shatters the former MMA gate record in Nevada, which was $10.7 million for UFC 200.

The fight started before the fight began. After the fight, Khabib blamed his actions on McGregor –
Khabib Nurmagomedov has said he lost his cool after defeating Conor McGregor because the Irishman disrespected his father, religion and country ahead of the fight.
Prior to the fight McGregor made comments about Khabib being a Muslim. He’s a member of the Sunni sect and he also was born in Russia. McGregor also made fun of Khabib’s father and coach, calling him a coward.
When the dust settled, three members of Khabib’s team were arrested. McGregor refused to press charges and the three were released although some media have reported that the attack on McGregor was premeditated.
