President Trump on Ted Cruz: “To Me He’s Not Lyin’ Ted Anymore, He’s Beautiful Ted” (VIDEO)

President Trump spoke to reporters from the South Lawn of the White House prior to departing for Houston Monday afternoon.

When asked about the term he coined for Senator Ted Cruz during the 2016 primaries, “Lyin Ted,” President Trump explained to reporters he buried the hatchet.

“To me, he’s not ‘Lyin’ Ted’ anymore. He’s ‘Beautiful Ted.’ I call him ‘Texas Ted,'” President Trump said.

And just like that, he re-branded Ted Cruz.
