President Trump on Kavanaugh: ‘It’s a Very Scary Situation Where You’re Guilty Until Proven Innocent’ (VIDEO)

President Donald Trump defended Judge Brett Kavanaugh on Tuesday, saying that “it’s a very scary situation where you’re guilty until proven innocent.”

President Trump spoke to the press Tuesday before leaving for Philadelphia.

The President defended Judge Kavanaugh, calling him “an outstanding person” who’s being “very brutally treated.”

Trump also noted that it’s a “scary time for young men.”

“It is a very scary time for young men in America, when you can be guilty of something you may not be guilty of,” Trump told reporters as he was leaving the White House.

Discussing the allegations against Kavanaugh, Trump spoke out about the presumption of guilt that the judge has been dealing with.

“It’s a very scary situation where you’re guilty until proven innocent,” Trump said. “That is a very, very difficult standard.”

When asked if he had anything to say to young women, Trump stated that “Women are doing great.”
