IT’S HAPPENING=> Comey Confidant James Baker Gives ‘Explosive’ Testimony on ‘Abnormal’ Handling of Trump-Russia Probe

James Baker

Top FBI lawyer James Baker gave an explosive testimony in a closed-door deposition Wednesday, according to FOX News’s Catherine Herridge.

James Baker was very close to fired FBI Director James Comey, so this is a very significant development.

Comey’s confidant, Mr. Baker resigned from his position in May of this year.

FOX News reported:

Former top FBI lawyer James Baker gave “explosive” closed-door testimony on Wednesday detailing for congressional investigators how the Russia probe was handled in an “abnormal fashion” reflecting “political bias,” according to two Republican lawmakers present for the deposition.

“Some of the things that were shared were explosive in nature,” Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., told Fox News. “This witness confirmed that things were done in an abnormal fashion. That’s extremely troubling.”

Meadows claimed the “abnormal” handling of the probe into alleged coordination between Russian officials and the Trump presidential campaign was “a reflection of inherent bias that seems to be evident in certain circles.” The FBI agent who opened the Russia case, Peter Strzok, FBI lawyer Lisa Page and others sent politically charged texts, and have since left the bureau.

Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows also said Wednesday that there is a “strong suggestion” that undercover FBI sources secretly taped members of the Trump campaign, reported the Daily Caller.

“There’s a strong suggestion that confidential human sources actually taped members within the Trump campaign. There is strong suggestions in that some of the text messages, emails, and so forth who was involved, that extraordinary measures were used to surveil.” Meadows said in an interview with The Hill.

Rep. Jim Jordan said, “there was another source giving information directly to the FBI, which we found the source to be pretty explosive.”

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is expected on Capitol Hill next Thursday, October 11th to give a closed-door interview following an explosive report by the NY Times claiming the DAG wore a wire and plotted to oust Trump from office.

Something is going down…the Department of Justice led by Rod Rosenstein will hold a press conference on Thursday morning at 9:30 AM Eastern.
